The VI Global Summit on Disinformation would like to thank all individuals, organizations, and teams that participated in the 2026 Projects Round, an initiative aimed at showcasing innovative experiences, research, and solutions to address one of today’s most urgent challenges in the information ecosystem.
This year, the call received proposals from different regions around the world, including initiatives from Africa, Asia, Europe, the United States, and Latin America, reinforcing the Summit’s global and collaborative nature.
This year’s Projects Round focused on two priority thematic areas: Disinformation and Health, and Disinformation and Climate Change.
Starting May 9, the Organizing Committee will begin contacting selected projects individually. This communication will also include further details regarding participation, preparation, and project logistics for the Summit.
We sincerely appreciate the interest, time, and commitment of every applicant. The diversity of perspectives and experiences received highlights that addressing disinformation increasingly requires international cooperation, innovation, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Selected projects will be featured as part of the 2026 edition of the Summit, taking place on May 27–28 in a 100% virtual, free, and bilingual format (Spanish and English).
While the Projects Round is now closed, registration to attend the Summit remains open.
