The call for submissions is free of charge and closes on May 2, 2026.
So far, proposals have been received from journalists, researchers, technologists, educators, and activists from all five continents, bringing ideas, debates, and research to address disinformation and its impact on democracy, the quality of information, and citizens’ rights.
These initiatives will be part of a special segment of the main event of the Global Summit on Disinformation, which will be held online and free of charge on May 27 and 28, 2026, enriching the exchange of experiences and concrete solutions to this global challenge.
In this context, the Project Round has consolidated itself as one of the spaces that allows to “showcase concrete initiatives, foster practical exchange, and highlight technological developments that help detect and verify false information,” said Renán Estenssoro, Director of the Fundación para el Periodismo (Bolivia).
