Last days to apply to the Project Round of the VI Global Summit on Disinformation

The VI Global Summit on Disinformation, which will take place online and free of charge on May 27–28, 2026, is entering the final stage of its call for the Project Round. Applications will be open until May 2, 2026 at 23:59 (UTC-3).

So far, submissions have been received from journalists, researchers, technologists, educators, and activists from more than 15 countries, contributing ideas, research, and developments to address disinformation and its impact on democracy, information quality, and citizens’ rights.

The Project Round provides a space to showcase concrete initiatives, share successful experiences, and present technological developments that help detect and verify false information. Selected projects will be featured as part of the Summit’s official program, which will bring together experts from around the world to discuss the global challenges posed by disinformation.

Projects may address the following themes:

  • Disinformation and Climate Change
  • Disinformation and Health
